Caring for your Art Work

Block Mounted Prints

These prints are finished with a matt laminate. This will enable you to dust the print or spot clean gently with a cotton bud and diluted methylated spirits.

Do not scrub or over wet.

Do not hang outdoors.

These prints are generated using pigment ink that is extremely fade-resistant. Hanging them in direct sunlight however, will shorten the lifespan of their colour intensity.

These prints are block mounted on a dense foam core with a thin plywood veneer. They are fragile and should be handled with extreme care at all times.

Canvas Prints

If your canvas is not sealed with a laminate it is possible to dust them only.

If your canvas is sealed with a laminate it is possible to gently wipe down the surface with a damp cloth. Do not overwet.

Do not apply water or any cleaning solutions.

If the surface is splashed with water, allow the water to bead and run off, then let the canvas dry in a sunny spot. The image is water-resistant not water proof.

Do not rub the surface of your canvas.

Do not hang outdoors, in areas of high humidity, direct sunlight or extreme temperature fluctuations. The canvas is an organic product and will respond to climatic
extremes.

All canvases are supplied with a string at the back for wall hanging. Whilst all strings are placed in exactly the same position on the back of the prints, the string tension can vary. If you want to hang the prints in a row, please measure each print individually.

It is possible for the tension in the canvas to change with humidity. If your canvas becomes loose, spray a very fine mist of water on the back of the print in the affected area. As they dry the canvas will tighten. Do not overwet.

Do not press, push or place any pressure against either side of the canvas, it will leave an impression.

If you are moving canvas prints always wrap appropriately.

Treat your digital print on canvas as you would an original oil painting on canvas.
